Package A - Mr. Not Me Strikes Again: $500
In this interactive whodunnit activity, expect lots of giggles!
A reading of Mr. Not Me kicks off this 60-minute engagement of songs, games, and fun for grades K-3. We will use super-sleuthing skills to try to solve the mystery of the missing cookie! Whodunnit? Was it you? It wasn’t me! Take-home coloring pages ensure a memorable event.
Package B - Sparklerific Stories: $500
From dragon racers to butterfly chasers, that’s what stories are made of! This sparkle-filled event, perfect for boys and girls alike, will have young readers clamoring to create adventures in the world of their imagination!
After a brief (and sparkly!) slide-show presentation and a reading from Unicorn Tales, this 60-minute engagement will prepare students to dream up their very own magical adventures! A little bit of magic - and a pinch of glitter - go a long way in the world of wonder. Take-along craft pages provided with instructions to complete at home or in the classroom will allow the adventure to continue long after the event.
Package C - Creative Creatures: $500
Unicorns aren’t the only mythical creatures. Fantastical worlds contain imaginary creatures of all kinds! Did you know the Unicorn Tales series contains fairies, mermaids, gnomes, trolls, and dragons? Yes, even dragons!
In this 60-minute presentation with a slide-show, students will hear excerpts from Unicorn Tales, and learn how to build their own magical universe, complete with fantastical creatures of their very own. Take-along world-building and creature-creating pages provided with instructions to complete at home or in the classroom.
Middle-grade books packages
Presentations are best suited for elementary grades 3-5 and middle school grades 6-8.
Package 1 - Fangtastic Package: $500
How do you retell a fairytale? With monsters and spice and everything nice, of course!
Through the use of a slide-show presentation - filled with funny gifs and age-appropriate humor - I’ll share the many ways to retell a fairytale. Will it be spooky or sweet? Scary or funny? You decide - because at the end of this educational and entertaining event you’ll have the resources and tools to create your very own fairy tale!
This package includes a 60-minute visit. There will be a 45-minute presentation and 15 minutes for a Q&A session. You supply the students, I supply the fun!
Package 2 - Frightfully Fun Package: $750
The Frightfully Fun package has all the entertainment and fun of the Fangtastic Package plus the added bonus of a 25% discount on your choice of a craft activity or writing workshop (usually only available as an add-on).
This event is 90 minutes, complete with a 45-minute presentation, followed by a 15 minute Q&A session. The remaining 30 minutes are reserved for the craft or workshop for a small group of 30 students. Best of all I supply the crafts and the fun!
Package 3 - Dead-on Package: $1,500
With all of the fun and enjoyment of the Frightfully Fun package, the Dead-on package includes three presentations and one FREE add-on of your choice!
This event is 210 minutes (three 60-minute engagements), each with a 45-minute presentation, followed by a 15 minute Q&A session. The final 30 minutes will be a craft activity or writing workshop for a small group of 30 students. The best part of all? Every student receives a bookmark to commemorate the event!
Package 4 - Monster Mash Up: $2,000
If you’ve ever wondered who Bethanie is in the “Amie & Bethanie Borst” author line on the Scarily Ever Laughter series, then this is the presentation for you!
Did you know Bethanie was only 10-years-old when she imagined the idea for Cinderskella? Children are amazing and creative! And your students will be inspired by Bethanie’s imagination, perseverance, and persistence to overcome multiple obstacles in her life.
With the aid of an interactive presentation, including a slide-show presentation featuring funny gifs, students will learn what it takes to write and publish a book. For 120 minutes (two engagements of 60 minutes each), Bethanie and I will discuss what it’s like to write as a mother-daughter team. We’ll detail our publishing journey and maybe even show you the monster mash!

For everyone!
Teleportation Package : $125
This package includes a teleportation to your classroom. Just kidding. I can't do that. Yet.
Prepare to be amazed by the powers of the internet! Yup, I'll visit your classroom through Skype, Google Hang Out, FaceTime, Zoom or any other similar means. For 30 minutes I will thrill your audience with my best kept writing secrets, provide a guided tour of my office, conduct a Q&A session, as well as introduce you to some of my favorite books!
WRAD Package: FREE!
Do you need a time out? Would you like someone else to read to your students? In this 10 minute virtual visit, I will read a sample from one of my published books. Offered year-round but spots fill up fast during WRAD (World Read Aloud Day).
For Teachers, Educators, and Future Leaders
Appropriate for all young adult (grade 8 and up) and adult audiences with an emphasis toward teachers, educators, and future leaders.
Motivational and Inspirational Engagement Package: $1250
In this engagement, I will discuss my personal experiences overcoming obstacles and persevering through multiple facets of my life, including my publishing journey, raising a family with diverse neurodivergent and educational needs, while simultaneously battling chronic illness.
How can my story help you and benefit your team of teachers and future leaders?
Through the experiences of others, we gain empathy and insight that serve to teach us ways to overcome our own personal trials, help those who are in need, and recognize differing socio-economic circumstances, neurodiverse learning styles, and other situations that may not mirror our own.
With the aid of a slide-show presentation, I will guide you through the process of recognizing the innate power you have within to overcome your own personal struggles, the gifts that come as a result of service to others, and understanding your potential to inspire children and individuals within your influence so they might find the courage to achieve success.
Engagement is 120 minutes, to be divided between a presentation, Q&A, and a small group motivational activity.

Add ons (only applied to school visit packages):
Crafty Corner: $330 A thirty-minute craft for a group of up to 30 students. The craft will reinforce themes presented during the event and encourage greater learning. Students keep their creations to display at home or in the classroom. I supply all the necessary items excluding crayons/markers/colored pencils, glue, and scissors. Crafts are fun, creative, and grade-level appropriate.
Writing Workshop: $330 A thirty-minute author-guided creative writing session for a group of up to 30 students. Students will create a short story, a twisted fairy tale, or other project relating back to the event using a provided writing prompt where they will apply creative writing tools using grade-level skills. Reading aloud and sharing stories are encouraged!
*Travel is billed at .50 per mile. Distances which require air travel are to be arranged and paid by the booking party. Hotel accommodations and per diem will be billed per local rates, to be discussed and agreed upon prior to the signing of the agreement.
